Tail Waggin Tutors

This summer at the Great Plains library students participated in a week long summer library program. The students were able to check out books, create a Wordle, make a PowerPoint of their favorite author, and read books to a very special friend. Check out the video to find out more!

First Grade Research

The first grade students are beginning their animal research based on the book The Rabbit and The Turtle by Eric Carle. The fifth grade students are their research buddies and have been helping them use the online databases for their research. The first students will be showing off their hard work at the First Grade Showcase on June 18th from 6:30-7:30.

Country Reports Pre-Assessment

This survey was created as a pre-assessment for the sixth grade students who are doing their country reports. As the library media specialist I hope to gain more insight into how sixth grade students view the research process.
