Australian Animal Research

The third grade students in Mrs. Youngs' class have been researching Australian Animals in the library. The students learned how to use on-line resources and print resources to find interesting animal information. After their research was done the students got to choose a picture of their animal from Google Images and then create a script using the program Crazy Talk. We then turned it into a movie using Movie maker. The movie was shown to their parents on Cupid Night. Check out the great movie!

The students at Greater Plains have been focusing on Black History Month. In library we have been reading books about Ruby Bridges and Rosa Parks. The second grade students in Mrs. Downie's class learned a song in music called "If You Miss Me From the Back of the Bus". They performed it in the library for us.
